One of my teachers from high school hosts a writing workshop over the summer where he shows students around the city and helps them catch that creative bug. This was the first year I actually had a chance to participate.
We walked around Downtown Lake Worth, exploring local shops and talking to some of the owners. We went to an art gallery, an art shop, a book store, and a few other places to write about what we saw. It was a lot of fun. I brought the camera along with me on the journey.
Common Grounds Coffee Bar is a great place to visit. The Cultural Center has an art gallery inside. I wrote a fifty word piece on this exact chair. This was one of the art shops. Sheldon Harriot and one of the students, Julisa. Sheldon Harriott, Julisa, and Manda. Mr. Harriot thought this would make a cool picture. And that it did. I played around with the camera for a bit. Two people who gave me a heated discussion on politics. Todd from the Book Cellar. He reviews over 2,000 books weekly. Can we just take a second to appreciate the cover. Todd convinced me to support my local bookstore and buy this beauty.
